Gravity Conveyors are non-powered, free flowing conveyors used in a push or level application to facilitate product movement. They can also be set up with declining stand heights to allow product to flow from a high to a lower elevation. Gravity conveyors are available in skate wheel or roller configuration. Both types can be used with a variety of powered conveyors to form a complete conveyor system.

The type of load will determine the type of conveyor to use.

Gravity Roller conveyors can be used when conveying flat, smooth bottomed surfaces as well as most items with an uneven bottom surface such as drums, pallets, cans, molds, etc.

Varying load conditions, up to 3,000 pounds, can be handled using different frames and rolls.

  • Roller conveyor can be more economical than skatewheel whenever the roll centers can be spread out.
  • Typically sold in ten foot sections
  • Various sizes available to meet your needs

Gravity roller curves can take your conveyor around corners or obstacles.

  • Choose from 45º or 90º curves
  • Galvanized steel or aluminum frame

Skatewheel ConveyorSkatewheel Gravity Conveyor

Skatewheel is best when conveying flat, smooth bottomed surfaces such as cartons, tote boxes, trays and plywood or masonite skids.

Popular Wheel Pattern Options:  12” Wide 10 WPF (wheels per foot), 18” Wide 16 WPF, 24” Wide 20 WPF
