What is Carton Flow Racking?

Carton flow rack incorporates gravity rollers right into the rack shelf itself. The rack shelves are set with a decline pitch to allow gravity to flow from the in feed side (rear) to the pick side (front). Benefits include improved full case or split case picking by offering greater SKU visibility, stock rotation and accessibility.

Variable shelf depth provides for denser product storage in a single bay than standard static rack thereby reducing amount of time required for restocking. Separate picking and restock aisle keeps processes separate, reducing interference and congestion. Carton flow provides FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory control and is used in for a wide range of products.
